The automotive industry is facing a profound change: away from linear production models - towards a sustainable, resource-conserving circular economy. Although modern vehicles are already around 85% recyclable, their potential for reuse and sustainable use remains largely untapped.
The Renault Group is setting new standards with its pioneering initiative THE FUTURE IS NEUTRAL and the innovative Refactory. The aim is to rethink vehicles - from design to use and recycling.
A particular focus is on the recycling of e-mobility batteries and the recovery of valuable raw materials, which are to be kept in the cycle even after their first product life cycle.
During our two-day delegation trip to Paris, we experienced this pioneering work on site and gained unique insights into the strategies and technologies with which the Renault Group is shaping the transition to climate-neutral mobility.
